The Mountain West is known for rapid temperature swings. A rigid coating will crack as the concrete expands and contracts. Freeze-thaw cycles can cause existing concrete cracks to expand over time. This is why we use a hybrid system: a deep-penetrating epoxy primer to lock out moisture and establish a mechanical bond, topped with polyaspartic for UV stability and abrasion resistance.
